Bought New York cut steak for our overnight BBQ at local campground and had to return the following morning to buy more for our road trip further south and they shrink-wrapped the meat we wanted to freeze. Mountain Meats will now always be a stopover when passing through Bathurst. Great staff too!

- Zoe Patterson Added June 12, 2022★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆For the most expensive butcher in town the quality doesn't stack up. A few times now we have purchased something that looks good in the window but was disappointing. The last straw was the scotch fillet steak we got, looked great in the window with some seasoning on top, took it home and underside of the meat is black. Once bought a pork roll for the spit that was off. Staff do not care, just ask you to travel all the way back into town to exchange it.
